Layered Crepe Cake -Fourth of July Themed
Today’s post we are featuring a Fourth of July themed layered crepe cake. I would describe this cake as fresh, light and just the right amount of sweetness. To make the crepes we used a vintage Sunbeam electric M’sieur Crepe Maker. You can still find them places like Etsy, Offer-Up, eBay or Craigslist. “Cucina” makes a crepe maker that work identically to the one we used and you can purchase it here on Amazon. These electric crepe makers make the crepe making process super simple. you simply dip the pan in the batter and the heated pan cooks the crepe. It slides off the non-stick pan with ease. Click the…

DIY Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Today’s post is about DIY Mother’s day gift ideas. As a mother, some of the most meaningful gifts I have ever received were the ones made by my children. Through the years, I have recieved many store bought gifts from my children (and I loved those gifts). The only thing is, now years later I can’t recall very many of those gifts. On the other hand, if you held up one of my cherished gifts handcrafted by one of my kids, I could tell you exactly who made it. Not only that, every time I reminisce about these DIY gifts I revisit the love I felt when receiving them. Now…

DIY Wire Bunny Wood Plaque
Today, we are making a “DIY Wire Bunny Wood Plaque”. I have to be honest we saw this bunny on Pinterest so it is not an original idea. We only saw a picture of it without a tutorial of how it was made so we decided to video our attempt of making it. We decided not to make an exact replica but instead tweaked it to match our style. Later, after creating the video we found the original blog with a picture tutorial. Find the original piece here. I will say the wire was a bit tricky to weave in a whimsical fashion but with a little persistence, we finally…
